Spicy Mango Peach Habanero Sauce

Mango Habanero Sauce in Half Pint Jars

Is it just us, or is spicy food like any other addiction?  We’ve found that we develop a tolerance over time and are constantly looking for ways to one-up our spice factor.  If you, too, are beginning to feel like Sriracha tastes just like ketchup, then look no further than the recipe for Spicy Mango Peach Habanero Sauce from Liana Krissoff’s Canning for a New Generation.  This canning cookbook is a personal, jam-stained favorite of ours and is loaded with modern takes on our absolute favorite thing to can–condiments.  The best thing about this recipe is the amount of habanero peppers can be modified to suit your tastes.

We love this recipe so much that, when we saw a crate of mangoes for sell at our local Asian Grocery Store within one hour of receiving our new steam canner from Amazon, it was a no-brainer as to what we would make for our first batch.  It turned out fabulous, and we’ll be posting on our steam canning adventures soon.

Spicy Mango Peach Habanero Sauce sounds amazing! My husband I started eating spicy foods about a year ago, and you’re right: It IS an addiction. We’re always looking for new ways to kick up the heat. I’d love to hear more about the recipe!
